Customer Cancellations: 

  • Cancel 7+ days before the trip → Full Refund
  • Cancel 3–6 days before → 50% Refund
  • Cancel within 48 hours → No Refund

 

No-Show: 

  • Failure to appear at the meeting point or pickup location is considered a no-show (non-refundable).

 

AfricTrails Cancellations: 

  • If cancelled due to weather, safety, low participation, or operational issues, customers receive a full refund OR free rescheduling.

 

  1. Itinerary Changes
  • AfricTrails may modify itineraries due to weather, safety, traffic, or operational requirements.
  • Alternatives of equal or better value will be provided where possible.

 

  1. Safety & Participation Guidelines

Health & Fitness: 

  • Travelers must disclose medical conditions, allergies, or limitations.

  • Travelers are responsible for their items; AfricTrails is not liable for lost or stolen property.

 

Emergencies: 

  • In emergencies, follow guide instructions.
  • AfricTrails may cancel or modify trips for safety reasons.
