Why We Started

AfricTrails began with a simple idea — to explore Africa beyond the postcards, and to invite others to do the same.
Our founders were inspired by years of travel across Ghana and the continent, where they experienced firsthand the beauty, diversity, and richness of African landscapes, cultures, and people. But they also noticed a gap: many tours were either too commercialized or lacked true connection to the places and people that made each destination special.
